Personal Description: I am a 22 year old teacher. I am a happy and bubbly person who enjoys meeting new people. I bond well with children and enjoy helping them to achieve their full potential. I am very patient and adaptable and try my best to meet the needs of the children I am working with. My personal strengths lie in teaching phonics and reading.

Tutoring Experience: I have been teaching at a local Chingford school for 2 years since completing my degree in Primary education with First class Honours. I am currently working in year 1 and have a class of 30 children of vary abilities and needs. During my studies I tutored 2 children aged 5 and 7 in english and maths. Both children made excellent progress and were able to achieve the required level for their age by the end of the year. I have experience of working with children with specific special needs and can adapt my teaching style appropriately.

Tutoring Approach: I believe learning should be fun and based on real life experience. I try my best to ensure I provide learning experiences for the children that will build on their current understanding and enable them to grow in confidence. I try to keep learning in short bursts with lots of repetition and varying methods to appeal to all areas of their intelligence. I would be happy to split an hours session into 1/2 hour english and 1/2 maths to meet your childs needs.

Qualifications:

• 10 GCSE's A-B grades
• 4 A Levels B-C grades
• BEd in Primary Education with 1st class Honours
