Personal Description: - I am a student currently studying Physics at Imperial College London
- This college was ranked Number 5 in the World by The Times last year
- I recently finished my second year
- I have A grades in Mathematics and Physics at A Level and GCSE standard
- I am located in East Hertfordshire and available for tutoring from my home or the student's home.

Tutoring Experience: - I have little experience in teaching. However, as a student i am have a good understanding of how my subjects are being taught in this day and age. I have a solid understanding of all the techniques and concepts in Physics and Mathematics. I know that i can convey these concepts to tutees so that they gain a full understanding. I aim to leave students with an appreciation of the subjects and a developed understanding rather than purely an ability to pass the exams.

Tutoring Approach: - I initially use my own understanding of the subjects to teach the tutee. I believe it is critical to understand the concepts rather than how to answer a question.
- Based on the examination board used by the child, i then use questions to test and hone a students ability to use their knowledge. In mathematical subjects i believe it is important to repeat exercises for the techniques to become in-grained
- I continue the tutoring with past exam papers once the key concepts are learned
- In order to maximise efficiency i will require students to carry out practice questions and sometimes do some reading.

Qualifications:

• GCSE: Maths (A*), Double Science (A/A), as well as 6 other A grades and 3 B grades
• A Level: Maths (A), Physics (A), as well as 1 other A grade and 2 B grades
• University Physics - Imperial College London: Expected 2:1
