Personal Description: I have taught A level Sociology and HND Health and Social Care at a College of FE and published an A level text Wealth, Poverty and the Wefare State as a co author with Mark Kirby. I have undertaken personal tuition for the past two years andboth my students obtained Grade A.

Tutoring Experience: As above.

Tutoring Approach: I believe in teaching students through asking questions and getting them to think in a sociological way about the world they live in at the present time. How doe marxism apply to them? Why? Is it relevant? If not why not? I expect them to research through the use of current events and be prepared to argue from different perspectives to help to prove/ disprove points and debate.
