Personal Description: I really enjoy travelling and taking part in alternative travel. I have climbed Mt Kilimanjaro and Everest base camp, as well as teaching for a while in Ghana! I enjoy swimming, running, reading and listening to music.

Tutoring Experience: I am a qualified teacher and have been teaching now for six years. I have taught in Special Needs settings and also in mainstream. I have worked across the age range from 5-16 and now head a department for 7-9 year olds.

Tutoring Approach: I usually begin sessions with a short assessment to gain an understanding of the tutee's current position and also discuss where the tutee would like to reach. Following this, i devise a plan that will guide the tutee towards their goal at a pace that suits them. As a tutor, i feel that it is important that the work is based purely on the needs and wishes of the tutee, therefore a flexible approach is offered and ongoing communication is essential.
