Personal Description: You Can Learn It started in August 2007 to provide a basic computer tutoring and accessible information service in Perth.

It has been set up as a Social Enterprise business to offer flexible training in the community.
Learning how to use computers provides people with the skills needed to access information available on the internet.
The company supports digital inclusion and promotes the use of open source software.

Tutoring Experience: Our tutor is Sheila Mackay who has had many years of experience as a trainer working with people with a wide range of abilities.

Sheila has spent the last few years working with people with disabilities including learning disabilities. She has worked with individuals, carers and families.
Finding ways to adapt learning resources led to some inspirational ideas to help people learn.

Tutoring Approach: Identify the learners interests and needs. Plan learning together and assess any adaptive technology requirements.

Qualifications:

• ICT and Literacies training, Disability Awareness training
