Personal Description: My name is Stephanie and although originally from Manchester I now live in Redhill, Surrey. I am 26 years old and after studying my degree in Spanish I am now studying a Masters Degree in Translation Studies. After graduation I hope to become a professional translator. Whilst studying I am working for British Airways as airline cabin crew. This is a perfect job for me as I can take my work away with me, and I get to see the world at the same time. I am an extremely friendly and bubbly person, and love spending time getting to know new people. I consider myself to be very patient, and also have a clear criminal background check, available in paper form if required.

Tutoring Experience: Whilst studing my degree I spent a year in Navarra, Spain teaching English in two primary schools. It was a mixture of being an assistant for the teacher, and taking classes on my own. This was an amazing experience. Also during my time at university I worked part time as a manager for a restaurant, which included helping collegues pass exams to also become managers. Going a little further back in time, whist at school I was part of a group that helped the younger students who had dificulty with their reading. This included giving up part of my lunch hour each day to spend time with these students and helping them improve.

Tutoring Approach: As I work shifts It is unlikely that I can stick to specific days each week. However I do have a planned roster for the entire month so lessons can be planned in advance. I will help students with any difficulties they may have, or plan for any upcoming exams (oral, listening etc). I will be there for the needs of the student and I will always plan lessons in advance.
