Information About Stephanie

Personal Description: I'm a young woman from Germany studying at the Shakespeare Institute in Stratford-on-Avon for a PhD in Shakespeare Studies. In Germany I studied at the University of Duesseldorf to be a teacher in modern foreign languages (English, French, Spanish), which encompassed seminars about educational science, literature and linguistics as well as language training classes. In addition to the subjects already mentioned in my profile, I would be able to tutor you in Spanish (all levels).

Tutoring Experience: In addition to the practical work at several secondary and primary schools which was essential for my course of studies, I have teaching experiences as a private teacher for about 4 years, both with an agency and as a 'private person'.

Tutoring Approach: In the first instance, I will focus on your most urgent problems and then try and work through 'old material' to reactivate your already gained knowledge of the language as well as helping you with any questions regarding current homework, coursework etc.
However, your interest in the subject is the most important thing for me, so I always try to cheer you up by looking at some aspects you manage fairly well and then come back to the more problematic areas.
You should be willing though to do some smaller exercises as a kind of revision at home (the same goes for vocabulary).
