Personal Description: I am a student at the University of Huddersfield studying Chemistry and have always had an interest inteaching and passing on the knowledge I have gained. Science is a wonderful subject which helps to explain the very small to the very large, the origin of life the universe and everything (to quote Douglas Addams.) My interests and hobbies include hiking swimming and reading the odd bit of Classical literature, I may be a Scientist but not a nerd.

Tutoring Experience: I have worked at a Science museum in Rotherham for just over six months as a visitors assistant and in this role I have regularly passed on my knowledge to young and old concerning the exhibits and how they work. I have also volounteered as a laboratory technician in my local comprehensive school and have gained confidence in practical and theoretical aspects of Science.

Tutoring Approach: I prefer to tutor face to face and in a way that plays to the tutees own strengths and learnng styles. If a person learns by doing then there are tricks and revision techniques that we can employ. People who learn best by reading have the benefit of my notes from Chemistry and their own school text books to help. I like to make what's on the page be more understandable by making it easier to visualise by using images pictures and colour as textbooks can be very dry.
