Personal Description: I am a fully qualified Geography teacher working currently in Forres Academy, Moray. I have my full registration with the General Teaching Council for Scotland. My undergraduate degree is from the University of Aberdeen (MA Geography) and I have a Postgraduate Teaching Qualification (PGDE Secondary Geography).

Tutoring Experience: I am currently in my third year of teaching Geography. I have taught all levels of secondary Geography from S1/2 to Standard Grade, Intermediate and Higher. I have experience of setting and marking prelim examinations and have a sound understanding of the expected standard required to pass all the above levels.

Tutoring Approach: I have a kind and helpful manner, and am very approachable. My philosphy is to ensure that my students are comfortable and can always be honest about their comprehension of the subject.

On a practical level, my approach is based on exam practice and technique. There is a specific way to answer questions at all certificate levels and I am very concerned that all pupils should develop these skills in order to perform to the best of their ability.
