Personal Description: I am a mature lady with four grown up children, three boys and a girl and a dog called Stella (she's crazy!). My youngest boy lives at home and attends college. I read all the time, classic books, new books, current affairs, magazines. I have an interest in a number of charities. I enjoy gardening - but not when it is cold, although I love playing in the snow, especially snowball fights.

Tutoring Experience: I have been a personal tutor for over twenty years and find the experience very rewarding. My tutees have included people from the age of 4 to 86. At primary level I cover all subjects; at Key Stage 3 I have experience with ICT, English, Maths, Science and Geography; at Key Stage 4 my subjects are ICT, Business Studies and Business and Communication Systems. I have extensive experience of tutoring people with special needs

Tutoring Approach: I have found personal tutoring to be especially rewarding as it enables me to build a relationship which is particularly productive for the tutee as they feel that I am personally involved in helping them to achieve. I aim to make the learning experience an enjoyable one with lots of encouragement and innovative ways of imparting knowledge.
