Personal Description: I am 39 years of age and married with two sons. I have a Degree in Chemistry from Loughborough University. I enjoy sport and travelling.

Tutoring Experience: I have taught Chemistry at a large Leicestershire 14-18 School for 16 years. I have been Head of Chemistry at this school for 8 years. I teach AQA GCSE Chemistry and AQA A-Level Chemistry. I have also taught Nuffield A-Level Chemistry. I also have tutored OCR A-Level Chemistry. I have tutored students outside of school for 14 years with much success.

Tutoring Approach: My approach is variable depending on the ability of the student and what they are struggling on at the time. However I believe that the practicing of past paper questions is vital for examination success.

Qualifications:

• Chemistry Degree from Loughborough University with a year out in Industry - completed in 1991.
• PGCE in Science and P.E. - completed in 1992.
• 16 years Chemistry teaching experience.
• 14 years tutoring experience.
