Personal Description: I am have been teaching for different counties and organisations since 1997. Since moving to Derbyshire 3 years ago I have been supply teaching in local Primary schools. I am now teaching Kindermusik classes, private instrument lessons and home tutuoring. All provide me with immense enjoyment.

Tutoring Experience: Instrument teaching privately and for County Music Services since 1993.
Primary school teaching since 2004.

Tutoring Approach: I am able to approach problems in several different ways and will keep trying until I find an approach that suits the individual I am teaching. I regard the parents as a key part of my teaching and aim to keep communication open and honest in all ways, including the child. I teach in a relaxed, informal way that promotes learning and personal development. I aim to take a holistic approach to my teaching, providing lifelong skills and enjoyment of learning.

Qualifications:

• I graduated from Trinity College of Music, London in 1993 and since then have gained QTS. I have an up to date CRB check.
