Personal Description: I am very patient and understanding. I also have a great sense of humour, which helps, because maths can be mind boggling at times!

Tutoring Experience: I am a qualified maths teacher and have over ten years of experience studying maths. I have been tutoring pupils for four years and enjoy helping them reach their full potential.

Tutoring Approach: I always plan lessons in advance and employ various strategies when teaching pupils, so that I can find out which works best for them. I have experience working with dyslexic children. I emphasise the use of key mathematical terminology, employ assessment for learning strategies, set homework (which could include completing an investigation) and mark it. I also possess good quality resources to aid students' understanding of topics and have copies of past exam papers.

My aim is to instill confidence and motivation in my students, so that they can achieve their best. Furthermore, I require all pupils to work to the best of their abilities and I'll make this known too. I believe that every child has potential if taught by the right teacher for them.
