Personal Description: I am a keen educator with good communication skills and a professional approach. By using different approaches to learning and teaching I assist my students to achieve their full potential regardless of level and ability.

Achievement is paramount but the enjoyment of learning is also nurtured.

I was educated in Scotland as well as abroad. I have also worked abroad. At present I am employed as a Mathematics teacher in a Secondary School.

Tutoring Experience: I have 20 years experience in lecturing at all levels to all age groups covering the broad spectrum of computing up to HND Level. I am also a qualified secondary school teacher with full GTC registration (Scotland) for Mathematics. I have taught from S1 to S6. I am trained in Psychology,Political Theory,Philosophy and Sociology.

Tutoring Approach: My tutoring style involves the use of a range of activities including use IT packages where applicable. The learning environment would be supportive and encouraging. Use of regular feedback and opportunity to promote learning is provided. Evaluation of progress is provided on a regular basis. I am highly skilled in examination techniques and can assist the learner to achieve the highest grade possible. My background in Psychology equips me to promote Active Learning and the use of memory improvement techniques to aid the tutee to remember the required information for the examination.
