Information About Tracy

Personal Description: 1 am a 42 year old female, married with 3 children currently working as a Learning Mentor/ Internal Cover Tutor (all subjects) at a secondary/sixth form college in Frome. I have also lectured in a college of FE in Essex on the BTEC Health and Social Care/Studies programme across all levels. Happy to provide support and extra revision/homework across all subject areas.

Tutoring Experience: I have experience working as a SEN Teaching Assistant, particularly with behaviour problems. I have years of experience working with children/young people and adults in crisis situations, including major disasters/incidents. I am trained to work with young people affected by crime. I can provide certificates etc. of verification. I work with both GCSE and sixth form students across all subject areas.

My degree is a 2:1 (Hons) in Health and Social Studies. I have experience teaching all aspects of Social Care/Studies. I hold an Enhanced CRB check.

Tutoring Approach: I am available for booster sessions during exam revision or as an emergency one-off.
I will work with you and your child on a plan which considers your child's profile and learning style.
I am comfortable and familiar with independent school requirements.
